Dr Aneel Kumar graduated in year 2009 from Liaqat university of medical & health sciences. He joined JPMC Karachi as house officer for 1 year internship. Trained for 2 years from Ziauddin university hospital in department of internal medicine. He has extensive cumulative working experience of almost 7 years in different ICU settings of Karachi. Later on joined JPMC Karachi for FCPS 2 training in Department of Pulmonology for 3 years. Got fellowship in Pulmonology from College of physicians & surgeons of Pakistan in 2019. After acquiring fellowship, joined Sindh institute of urology & transplantation as Consultant Pulmonologist & intensivist for 1 year. Currently working as Consultant Pulmonologist at Sindh infectious disease hospital & research center(DUHS) & The Kidney center PGTI for last 3 & 2 years respectively. Apart from Pulmonology, his special interests include Critical care medicine, Sleep medicine & transplant sciences. Expertise include Bronchoscopy, performing & interpretation of Pulmonary test, pleural procedures like Pleural fluid drainage, pleural biopsy, tube thoracostomy, pigtail catheter insertion, handling mechanical ventilation (invasive & non-invasive).
